At age 13, Betty was told by her granny that their family is cursed This is the Widdershins sisters adventure on looking how to break the curse. This book was so cute, with a lot of adventures and suspense moments, and funny parts. Sometimes I thought that chikdren‘s behavior were not in accordance with their age. I don‘t know about the idea to reappear persons that were dead but I‘m not an expert in children literature 3.9⭐️⬇️. I have book 2👍
I am actually getting through quite a lot of my backlist, including this little gem. I have had it for at least a year maybe longer.
I really enjoyed this story of 3 sisters trying to get rid of a curse put on their family name. It goes back and we find out how the curse was made.
As I posted a bit back I have the next book so I won't wait so long to read it! #bookcovers
I am reading A Pinch of Magic and enjoying it. I bought A Sprinkle of Sorcery yesterday. Both are gorgeous covers! #bookcovers
I'm not sure about a sequel as everything felt wrapped up in this book, but this story of three sisters trapped on an island by an ancient curse was just as magical as I hoped for.

Let's see how about @suzie.reads do you want to di this?
"Every time the curse is triggered, a stone falls from the tower wall..."
???
A trio of feisty sisters, a Granny with gumption, a family curse cast by a wronged sorceress, a prison break and a pinch of magic in three seemingly ordinary household items. A wonderful premise for a story, and a great read for pre and early teens with a longing for adventure. I can't wait to pass this one on to my niece. Celebrates the bonds between sisters.
Delightful! Sisters, a curse, a big old family secret, a prison break plus ‘a pinch of magic‘ with a race against time with their lives literally on the line... not sure that it quite lived up to it‘s beautiful cover but it came close (as I read past my bedtime 😂)
I really enjoyed this - a bit of magic, a bit of a scary story, a lot of sisterly love, it was sweet! The ending wrapped up quite quickly but I think it had to as the time they had was running out. I‘d like to know where Sorsha and Colton ended up, perhaps a sequel?
Really looking forward to this read and trying to look forward to lunch - it is yummy but I have no appetite after having a bug earlier in the week. I lost 6lbs which is fab but I LOVE food and am so sad that I have no interest. Am focusing on books instead - always got a ravenous appetite for more reading!!
What a lovely whimsical story of magic, quests for freedom and sisterhood. Read a full review on my blog: www.theconstantreader.net/blog
Life could be worse. 😁
Couldn't resist another pic of this, it's so beautiful! The stacking dolls are relevant. YA fiction but lovely escapism
Three sisters trapped by an ancient curse.
Three magical objects with the power to change their fate.
Just getting started. Such a beautiful cover!
