*TW for sexual assault, eating disorders, & self harm*
Whew, this was a lot darker than I was expecting, but also utterly engrossing. The author does a great job of capturing complex familial relationships & friendships. Sometimes the mental processes the characters went through was a little too much for me, but that‘s also what made them feel authentic. Plus, there was just enough witty humor to balance some of the extreme darkness. ★★★½.
