The No1 reason I love SciFi is it forces me to use my brain and to learn new facts to add to my knowledge. I‘ve now added the word haematopoiesis to my bank of trivia!

My Saturday night is looking very futuristic so far! In bed with yet another breakdown, instead of quality nanny time I‘ll be switching between the tagged chunkster, which is the 1st in a very large trilogy, and the audiobook of the 1st Foundation book. My very first Asimov, I‘ve been watching the adaptation on AppleTV & loved it, but the book is very different isn‘t it? Which do you prefer Asimov lovers? #NovelNovember #33by33 #AnyWayYouReadathon
Forgot to post this one earlier, take a look at the size of these babies! Both are over 1200 pages and there‘s another book that sits in the middle of these that‘s also huge. I think for these I‘m gonna have to carve out a few days of peace & quiet, with no distractions or interruptions so I can make a dent in them. “Hey Hubs! Pack your bags, you‘re going to your sisters for a week! When? Does tomorrow sound good for you?”😋👋
#BookMail Pt4 I‘ve always been a big SciFi reader, I love Anne McCaffrey, Ann Leckie & now Becky Chambers, so I went on a browse through booktopia.com.au This author jumped out at me for some reason,I was actually looking at his new book Salvation,but found his older books appealing too. This is the first book in a “space opera” trilogy & it looks freaking awesome! Very very hefty though, over 1,200 pages with small font! #hellomigrainemyoldfriend
I figured, now that I have extra time for reading (when breastfeeding, pumping or with a sleeping baby on me) I should tackle some door-stoppers! #1000pages+ #doorstopper #scifi #sf #mbtr

pickread this. read this! READ THIS! souls start taking over planets. I can't say much except READ THIS OMG It's brilliant and insane! Hamilton's writing is smart, technically in-depth (and I'm not a sciency kid so I was worried it'd be over my head) and his characters really suck you in.
