Colorado's Fourteeners: From Hikes to Climbs | Gerry Roach

Hey friends!! Heading off to find some mountains tomorrow, so I probably won't be on Litsy much, especially since it still isn't in the Google Play store!! 😭 But fear not, I'll be back!!!

Today I'm working on the million-item to-do list. It really doesn't seem like getting two people out the door for a week should be this much work 😂 But here we are. DON'T WORRY!!! I already have all my books packed!!!! 😁

TheBookHippie No worries, enjoy your time! I‘m enjoying the read so much better this time around and I‘m so happy it‘s not a struggle! The chapter a day is the exact right pace! Once a week, or two - check in is good. 2y

Hey y‘all. After being home since mid-March I got a temporary gig in Colorado. Looking for book recommendations set in Colorado or with mountainy vibes. I already searched #colorado on here and did a cursory Google.

Since moving to Colorado, hiking has become more of a #hobby. My hope is to eventually hike a 14er. (This photo is from yesterday. Mount Evans is the only 14er you can summit by car, so it doesn't really count. Although the road up is pretty nerve-wracking 😯)

Aimeesue I lived in the Springs for a while; all those crazy mountain roads made me want to close my eyes while travelling on them. Mesa Verde about killed me. 😱😱😱 5y

Hamlet Try the cog railway up Pikes Peak from Manitou Springs, another lovely way to see a 14er if you‘re not ready to hike one! 5y
