so-soThis was a sad novel, mostly because all the main characters feel so achingly alone. When a young woman with a wild reputation goes missing it affects several people in her small Kentucky hometown, from her school teacher sister, to a lonely factory worker, and a pair of misfit 8th graders. I enjoyed it well enough but figured it out pretty early on.

Struck by this character's perspective on truthfulness. Quite appropriate considering the relativity of truth in today's world. "He needed it to be true. He couldn't be the man he thought he was if it wasn't."
pickA picture of me in my natural habitat. LOL. Anyways I finished The Next Time You See Me today and I'm blown away. I absolutely adore everything about this book and I'm so sad its over now. Everything from the description, the multiple perspectives, and the overall theme had me on cloud 9. 10/10 would certainly recommend this book!
