The Underland Chronicles #4: Gregor and the Marks of Secret | Suzanne Collins
7 posts | 38 read | 6 to read
Follow Gregor in the fourth enthralling adventure in Suzanne Collins' New York Times bestselling Underland Chronicles -- with gorgeous new cover art coming July 1st! In Book 4 of the bestselling Underland Chronicles, Gregor is drawn ever deeper into a brewing crisis. For generations, rats have run the mice out of whatever lands they've claimed, keeping them constantly on the move. But now the mice are disappearing and the young queen Luxa is determined to find out why. Gregor and Boots join Luxa on a simple fact-finding mission. But when the true fate of the mice is revealed, it is something far more sinister than they had imagined -- and it points the way to the final prophecy Gregor has yet to fulfill. His abilities are put to the test in this suspenseful, action-packed penultimate installment of Suzanne Collins's thrilling Underland Chronicles.

Book #4 in the series. Oddly Libby didn‘t have this so I had to buy it. Gregor continues on saving the underworld through another prophecy. His mom is still recovering, Boots manages to tag along on the journey, and all the regulars are off into more parts of this world to save everyone.

SABOTAGED BY A CLIFFHANGER!!!!! War is declared for the sake of the Nibblers who saved Queen Luxa as the crew interpret a prophecy hidden in a popular Regalian song. Yet another prophecy is left for Gregor to find but it seems to end badly, so nobody wants to talk to Gregor about it. To be continued...

j.rye Love the star stitch. It‘s probably my favorite because it never gets boring. 6y
IamIamIam @j.rye It's so much fun!!! I have no idea why I've never attempted this before! 😂 It's the perfect stitch for a pretty variegated yarn. 😍 6y
julesG What are you making? I've wanted to use the star stitch for a blanket, I'm tired of granny squares, but I need to finish some other projects first. 6y
IamIamIam @julesG I made a blanket for one of my students with velvet yarn and this together so I thought I'd make a pixie hat to go with it. She's having a baby in July. Here's the pattern and I feel like it's the perfect swatch size to get used to the stitch. It's not crazy complicated but I had to try it a few times. https://www.crochet-patterns-free.com/2015/03/free-crochet-pattern-baby-bonnet-s... 6y

Had to go old school for the next installment of the Underland Chronicles! On disk 3 already and it's going at a pretty good clip.

The penultimate book in the Underland Chronicles. This book is a set up for the final book, unlike the earlier books that had a conclusion at the end. Great writing and lots of feels.

My fifth grade boy gives another 5 Stars without hesitation. He loves this series. It is great reading it with him at bedtime. We got his high school sister back into it with this one too. ✌🏼❤️📚

My son and I are reading the Gregor the Overlander series. This week, we read the characters discussing a scythe. I was beside myself when I realized that I have made it to the age of 45 thinking that the Grim Reaper carries a sickle, when in fact a sickle has a short handle - he carries a scythe. Seriously, the things I do not know. Also, I was saying scythe wrong until I thought to have the dictionary app pronounce it for me. #ForRealFriday

Sace Uh. Ditto everything you said. Thank you for this educational post! #dictionaryappaddict 7y
