I liked this little book. A sweet simple story.
This was a sweet story. Lots of southern and Texas small town charm. Good characters and a fairly basic plot. Light reading except for a couple of trigger warnings for grief and loss. Three and a half stars.
I did a little #AudioDecorating today. I know it‘s technically still summer, but the weather (and my mood) has got me ready for Fall! 🍁🍂🍁
So psyched because it's my first time to play a game here, and look--I almost got them all! 😊

I wish I can get 4 hours free today so I can finish this book. Alas, there's just too many things to do ☹
Bless your soul, you've got your head in the clouds
You made a fool out of me
And, boy, you're bringing me down
You made my heart melt, yet I'm cold to the core
But rumor has it I'm the one you're leaving her for

My audible books for February are up on my blog. Stop by and say hi! #alwaysreading https://reecaspieces.com/2019/02/28/february-audible-reads-audible-audiblebooks/
This was such a sweet story. Jennie Sue returns to the small town of Bloom TX, where she grew up and her parents still live. A town where everyone knows everyone else, and all of their business. We walk with Jennie Sue as she tries to put her past behind her, repair a broken relationship with her mother, and as she finds the people who finally help her realize where home is. Shed a few tears reading this one. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
I loved this book! It‘s about friendship, being free to be yourself, and some sweet romance. It was time well spent, and I‘ll be looking for more by Carolyn Brown.
I‘m hoping to finish this book during tech rehearsal tonight. I‘m so close!
What are you reading tonight?
My view tonight. It‘s raining (again), and the kids are in another rehearsal for the Christmas Show NICU fundraiser, which is Saturday. It‘s been such a hectic week that I‘m sitting in the car where it‘s quiet, listening to the rain. I think I‘m going to pull out my Kindle Paperwhite and read the tagged book if I don‘t fall asleep first! 😂
Anyone else who has had Monday every day this week? 🤣
While my daughter finishes Christmas at Harrington‘s, I‘m going to read this one. It‘s my first book by this author. (Borrowed through Kindle Unlimited.)
