Rob Darcy??? Seriously you wrote a western Pride and Prejudice and you called him Rob. One the many things that made me cringe while trying to read this #biglibraryread 🤯

Oh, boy. This book was not for me. Lots of casually sexist language, lots of typos, and just not great writing. I will admit I got a bit choked up during the proposal, but I expect that‘s because I love Lizzie and Darcy so much, I want them to be happy even in a bad adaptation. Another bummer #biglibraryread
Im almost at 9 hours of #24in48!
Not my cup of tea. There were a lot of typos and consistency errors in this ebook (genders of side characters swapping, backstories feeling flimsy). I don't like these sort of romances that the end result is marriage and honestly, their romances felt forced to me. Of course you're going to feel something for someone who saved your life (Janie) and there was zero chemistry between Darcy & Liza, I felt. (Continued in comments)

Just getting up and starting the #24in48 readathon! I've got a lot of cleaning to do this weekend, so I might even get close with audiobooks!
Anyway, the hour 6 challenge is the first line of something you're reading. I'm almost done with this now, but there you have it!
Anyone else reading this besides @drbethandherkindle and me? I‘m not sure how they choose these books for the #BigLibraryRead. This is a P&P retelling, with a cowboy twist. It was fine, fairly true to the original, but in Wyoming!

I usually miss the #biglibraryread and end up reading the books solo later, but not this time! Despite the mockings of certain family members, I have downloaded this and am ready to read!!
A bit of a jumble, not going to lie, but I do appreciate Williams' take on a western retelling of Pride and Prejudice.
She wrote some great Darcy monologue that reminded me of the Joe Wright film with Mathew McFayden - my favorite Mr. Darcy -
Hmm, a romantic cowboy retelling of Pride and Prejudice for the next #biglibraryread. I really hated the last one they chose, and I really don‘t understand how these books are chosen or why, but I may give it a shot. What do y‘all think? Has anyone read this author or have any insight on the story behind the Big Library Read?

A country western retelling of Pride and Prejudice?!?
I'm in! Anyone else?
