1. I was out and about on Main Street Saturday and saw some lovely peonies in front of a church.
2. That afternoon I went to a community band concert that wasn‘t only free but also included refreshments at intermission.
3. I became a patron of my favorite podcast and got a nice personal message from one of the cohosts.
4. Everyone I voted for in the primary won. Now the real fun starts!

Just a #christmasflowers photo for those of you in the Northern Hemisphere - its peony time here in New Zealand. I put some plastic holly berries in there to make it more Christmassy 😂😂 ( @CarolynM $20 worth of flowers from the local fruit shop - love our fruit shop! 😀)

Okay this is less of a weird word and more of a weird pronunciation but I just noticed that my partner pronounces peonies in the weirdest way! He's southern and I'm a transplant so we're always laughing about new differences in language/speaking habits

I couldn‘t help myself, this time of year is always one of my favourites because of these gorgeous blooms! Peonies are my absolute favourite, cliche I know, but honestly if something makes you happy and brings a smile to your face, why not embrace it!

These lovely blooms were at my local Trader Joe‘s, fingers crossed I can go back this weekend and grab another bunch or two. Do you love peonies?
