Book 35👂🏻🎵 - 3⭐️
Good book for people just learning about mindfulness.
Repeats a lot of the information I‘ve already learnt which is why my rating isn‘t as high. But I did like the mindfulness practices at the end!

So, I had a spectacularly bad day today. I had a panic attack during a client meeting while I was mid sentence. It's the first time that I've had one in public and it was mortifying. I'm trying to get over it but I keep reliving that moment over and over. Then I remembered that I had this book hiding on my shelves. I started it a couple of years ago but my anxiety lessened and I stopped reading it. It's got some useful stuff in it though.

DGRachel I'm so sorry! I hope you're feeling better. 😔 8y
MicheleinPhilly ☹️ Panic attacks are the WORST! Have you read this? I'm a massive skeptic when it comes to things like meditation, or I was until I read this book. 8y
Foxyfictionista @DGRachel Thank you! ☺️ 8y

rabbitprincess Oh no! Hope you feel better soon. Take care of yourself. 8y
Foxyfictionista @MicheleinPhilly I haven't heard of this book. It looks interesting. I'm a bit of a skeptic as well but this book talks about it as a science to focus one's mind rather than as a form of spirituality. It talks a lot about how we think and why we can be so destructive to ourselves rather than just how to fix it. That appeals to me. ☺️ 8y
