Everything We Give | 
panI wanted to love this book. I really did. I really enjoyed the first two in the series! I did not like that so much was new to the third book (I feel like it should have been mentioned in the first and/or second books and not introduced in this book). I think the first two books in the series went together and this one had the same characters, but was a completely different story. Disappointed.
so-soIt was not as good as the second one. It was about on par with the first. It wasn‘t my favorite, but the ending brought things full circle, and I was happy with that. 3 out of 5 stars.
pickEverything We Give is a worthy & emotionally satisfying conclusion to Kerry Lonsdale's beloved trilogy about Aimee, James/Carlos, & Ian. Saying good-bye to these characters is bittersweet.⭐⭐⭐⭐

I did have my usual humid Friday order of an acai bowl and cold brew coffee with coconut milk for breakfast at the coffeeshop, but I just had a few scant moments with one of my current #ARC reads before getting busy with an online meeting. Still, it was delicious and it's #AlohaFriday 🌺🍍so I can't complain too much. I'm ready for the weekend.😬

Between trying to work & watching/listening to coverage on the Golden State Killer press conference, I forgot to post my usual Wednesday breakfast photo. No 'drizzle' on ??to judge today-I went for the 'deviled avocado' with a scoop of jalapeño hummus in the center that I helped develop for the menu. Yum! ?
