It was an amazing read when I was young and still is. Steve Backshall filled this story with the knowledge and zest he has gained over the years in his line of work without being intrusive. I wouldn‘t recommend this to young children, as it does contain a bit of graphic violence and a bit of drugging, but it perfectly conveys Backshall‘s message — that the natural world, its denizens and dangers, must be treated with care and respect.
