AmyG Belva Plain…there‘s a memory. I probably have read all of these. 2mo
TiredLibrarian That's going back in time! I read Hotel and The Thorn Birds, which was a huge thing with the miniseries. 2mo
Bookwormjillk The Thorn Birds is still a favorite of mine 2mo
Soscha My ma & older sisters love loved Daniele Steele‘s “Loving”, I think it was. Their “must read” for me, which I didn‘t. The other was “Where Are the Children?” from Mary Higgins Clark, which was more to my taste? Never read Danielle Steele & remain dismissive of her work. My ma did get me hooked on mysteries though staring with Sue Grafton. It still shatters me that neither lived to finish the “Z is for…” Alphabet series. 😢 2mo
Andrew65 Loved The Shell Seekers. 2mo
willaful I'm sure I read the Shell Seekers, and I think some Bradford. 2mo

MemoirsForMe @Soscha I never read Danielle Steele either, but I loved Mary Higgins Clark. The novel that got me hooked was The Cradle Will Fall. Couldn‘t put it down! Yes, Sue Grafton and MHC left us too soon. 😢 2mo
