Welcome to Litsy!

This book continues a tale of girl power told through historical fiction. It took me about 3 weeks to read it, but it was never a slog. The adventure and drama were well-paced & kept me entertained to the end. I would have been sad to see it end except that it‘s 2nd in a trilogy!

Hooray! Last night I made it to Part Two! I love the continuation of this story and just wish I had more time to get lost in it. Now I have 375/707 to go!

📚 Well this pile is pretty much impossible with all the job/adult responsibilities/social justice/Litsy/reality television filling my life but let‘s see what happens.

I‘m happy with my weekend total. This challenge helped me squeeze in some extra pages here and there and it added up! Luckily this book lends itself to being read in bits, although it‘s so good I wish I had more time to read.

I am out-of-town with out-of-town family this weekend. We got to visit the beautiful Wupatki National Monument today but I did not get much time to read. It doesn‘t matter - it still helped me squeeze in a few extra minutes.
P.S. Don‘t worry. I‘m a good citizen. This is one of the Pueblo ruins you‘re allowed to walk through & touch. I think this one had a great built-in bookcase. #24B4Monday

I started today with the tagged book but with family here from out of state I don‘t think I‘ll get much done. It‘s a great motivator anyway!

I‘m about to start this 707 page book. I loved The Tea Rose but the size has me a little worried. Hopefully I will finish before I need to read my book club‘s selection.
