An excellent middle grade novel surrounding the mystery of a missing ring that belonged to legendary artist Frida Kahlo.
pickPaloma and her mother are visiting Mexico City for the summer, and nearby is the home (now museum) of Frida Kahlo. When an important piece of art goes missing, Paloma finds herself drawn into a mystery with her new friends.
This fun middle grade mystery is light and entertaining. It‘s wrapped up a bit too neatly in the end, but I can be okay with that.
