Nope. I‘m at 23% and actively dislike everyone in this book. And the premise. And everything. It is both boring and annoying.

(It does not help that I am MAX CRANKY today. So little time for this dumb bullshit.)

This was a totally fun and quirky, quick read. If you‘re in the market for a book that is pure escapism this is it.

Next chill read

Fun read but certainly not perfect. Thankfully I was only looking for a lighter read while camping, otherwise probably would have been overly annoyed at some character development flaws and such. #SummersEndReadathon

Not quite the romance it‘s advertised to be. Which was a good thing. 2 leads have weaknesses, blind spots, big emotional holes, all of which are good obstacles to go through. We are showed two people becoming friends with a huge physical attraction while walking through a emotional minefield. The whole dating app thing is more a plot point working as a too real mirror of what‘s going on right now in RL and is not reallly dealt with realistically.

So. Much. Snow. I had 4 feet of snow in my driveway, even if the ❄️ remover had been there around 3am. I stayed home. Snow day. They came to remove the snow at 3.30 pm. Still, I knitted, i read. Watched the snow come down. I did shovel the front porch and part of the back one. In small bursts.
Hockey tonight Crosby vs McDavid. Geno got suspended one game for not breaking a guy's face. 🤣

Started a new one. Intrigued by the humor in the first chapter.

I hate doing this to books but I had to give up on this one. More than half way through and I found no chemistry between the characters, everyone and their mothers were extremely judgy and it was just a bust all around. Bummer because I was really looking forward to this one.
