What were your thoughts on this book?
I really thought I was going to like this one, but instead, I'm a little shocked how unimpressed I was. On the one hand, it kept me reading, but on the other, it ended with a cliffhanger - and I've got no desire to read the next one to find out what happens. A total MEH book. On another note, I was kind of shocked at how cliche ridden and generic the writing was in places. Sara Shepard, what happened???
I liked it. The imagery is really good and keeps you wondering the truth until the end! The characters all have very distinct personalities and for a darker tale it was an enjoyable read
I binge watched the TV series last month and loved it, so just had to read the books. Finished reading the first one in less than a day (I'm usually a really slow reader), it's an light, fun read. Looking forward to reading book 2.
I wrapped up the Lying Game series this week - it being only 6 novels and 2 novellas was a big win. I was drawn into the Pretty Little Liars series but stopped halfway... after 8 books how many more twists and turns and non-answers can one handle?
My review (with spoilers) is posted on my blog - Librarian Wannabes. Check it out if you‘d like!

When you have packing to do but you just got sucked in to a new series.... The Lying Game was so good! By the end my heart was pounding, I was reading faster and faster, like that would somehow sate me. Now I have the series checked out on overdrive and I don‘t want to finish unpacking from the Holidays during Ethan‘s naptime... ugh #readerprobs
Today‘s question for myself, can I finish this book in 2017 and make it a nice 85 books for the year? My reading goals were bust this year - my first year as a parent and I got to read a lot of touch and feel books 😂 we‘re in between massive snowstorms at my parents house so I went to my old library and checked out some books on my mom‘s card - gotta love small town libraries that make exceptions for out of town daughters 😉

The book itself was not so bad for YA nonsense fluff....but the narration. OMG. It took me almost two hours...TWO HOURS!... to realize the narrator was reading for two separate parts. COME ON! #litsyatoz #letterl @BookishMarginalia
Anyone else read this? For the the past month it seems like I've been just reading serious books.
Trying a new app - Bookout. Add your book, start the counter, read, then when you're done stop the counter and enter your page/percentage. I haven't done a book I haven't been in the middle of already yet, but I like that it'll predict how much longer it'll take for you to finish a book. And you can product cool infographics!

I haven't read Pretty Little Liars, but this book definitely reminded me of the show.
Not sure about this narrator but the story seems interesting.
I had a life anyone would kill for.
Then someone did.
The worst part of being dead is that there‘s nothing left to live for. No more kisses. No more secrets. No more gossip. It‘s enough to kill a girl all over again.
