D-E-F for the #AlphabetGame - A Dog for Davie's Hill is one I picked up a book sale based on the illustrations and the fact that I love border collies. The story is a little disjointed, but still a pleasant story, especially for younger readers who may not be as distracted by the complete lack of plot haha

Emily's Runaway Imagination is classic Cleary and one of my favorites. I love this old library discard edition.

Forever is the third book ⬇

TheAromaofBooks (cont'd) in Stiefvater's Wolves of Mercy Falls trilogy(ish). I actually weirdly enjoyed these books, even though they're kind of outside my usual wheelhouse, and I LOVE the covers for these editions.

Not sure how on top of this challenge I'll stay, but I'll try to keep jumping in!!

These Beverly Clearly books are some of my oldest friends. I can't overstate their importance in my life as an #incipient reader. #BeautifulWords

Day 1 #CrimesAgainstCovers: #MostWreckedBook. I do have other books in rough shape--stained, dog-eared, cracked spines, broken bindings, etc.--but none that are beaten up in the much-loved "read-till-it-fell-apart" way as these childhood favourites.

Erinsuereads Most of my childhood books look like this too actually! I don‘t even take them off the shelf! 7y
