Husband outside in the heat grilling while we‘re inside with the books. We wine - I mean win! Cheers 🍷🍷
I had high hopes for this one which didn‘t entirely pan out. Loved the idea of a mom working as a PA for a spoiled orphaned celebrity man-child, but the characters just didn‘t ring true for me. I also found the non-stop pop culture references annoying. But I enjoyed the story and I finished the book with a smile on my face.
Allison & her family are finally living her dream, moving to New York City. But when they arrive it is not what she thought it was going to be - their apartment is tiny, her kids are having a tough time, her job falls through, & the other Moms at school are mean. A story of making changes, embracing the bumps in the road, & recreating yourself to make it work. 4 ⭐️
Thanks to NetGalley & the publisher for providing an ARC for my honest review.
