I can never resist the 3 for $10 bin at Indigo.
More like what desperate stupid women do. This book has animal abuse, I refuse to read books with animal abuse. No thank you.

I enjoyed this but found Sam's obsession with Dennis just abit too much.
I know everyone is different but I don't like the thought of someone being so needy and reliant on another person.
It was a good story though and a speedy read.

Quick read. Frustrating main character, the ending was a little hard to follow.
February reads, 5 books this month which is pretty good going for me also started on audiobooks for the first time ever!! Really need to make a dent in my physical books though😬 but hopefully that should be easier having really cut back on book buying since starting with ebooks and my library app🤞#wrapup #february
New bedtime reading tonight - The innocent Wife by Amy Lloyd. 📚📚📚
Honestly, it was a little slow, but captivating enough that the pace wasn‘t too bad. What really threw me was the ending! I still can‘t decide how I feel about it, regardless it was very abrupt and confusing.
I do think this was a great run at a first novel and wouldn‘t hesitate to pick up another by the author.
Holy 💩 this was good. When Samantha marries an inmate on death row, she‘s certain she knows all of his secrets. After new evidence arises and he‘s released, exonerated of all charges, Sam begins to question how much she knew him in the first place.
This wasn‘t a usual thriller read, but it was fast paced and all the characters interacted with grace you really start to wonder who knew what. 10/10 would recommend ☺️
Felt like it moved slow- or for some reason, it just dragged on. And then at the end I thought “what the f”. I read too many books in this genre. I need to stop.eventually.
Sam, the main character in this I didn't really like. This book was okay. I'm surprised I finished it.
⭐⭐⭐
Twisted and a tad disturbing at some points, but a good thriller overall! I wasn‘t too fond of the ending although it fits with the true crime fiction story!
Playoff hockey pregame ritual 💪🏻😆🐧🏒 🍻
I hope this brings me out of my ‘so-so‘ slump! #currentread #amreading
Your thoughts on this book? I‘m excited to get started! My new read on this short trip! What book are you reading on your ‘spring break‘ ( I say this while we drive through snow 😔)
Where do I even begin. I gave it a pick so I did like it. The premise and the storyline are so interesting. There were some things that were a little uncomfortable to read but that is because it is very real. Where it gets problematic for me is the end of the book. I almost feel like I missed something and I am still wondering what the ending actually means. If anyone else has read this I would love to chat!
Received from NetGalley for a honest review - the story was ok but I wasn‘t the biggest fan of the characters
#BookMail No1 from Goldsboro Books is this months BOTM. I love how their books always come with either sprayed edges, signatures or numbered first editions. Or all 3! Samantha becomes obsessed with Dennis & proving his innocence in the murder he‘s in prison for, she‘s even moved to the US & married him. But once he‘s out, why is she so scared? Does she want to know the truth after all?
Sounds intriguing! #NewYearNewBooks #SoManyBooksSoLittleFunds
Holy f@ck I have my #Goldsboro BOTM a day after my account debited, must be a record @TrishB @ScorpioBookDreams
It was a good read but I felt the ending fizzled out. Character-wise, Samantha was sympathetic at first but her neediness soon began to grate, whilst Dennis remained an enigma. Warning: for those sensitive to such things there are several mentions of animal abuse/killing although it‘s not too graphic. Rating: 3/5.
Thanks to Netgalley and publishers for the opportunity to review an ARC.
