Mm...London Fog, chocolate croissant and I started two books I can't put down. Why do I do this to myself? The Art of Fielding and We Never Asked for Wings. Vanessa Diffenbaugh's The Language of Flowers hooked me on her writing. Her characters find a spot in my heart. TAofF is a baseball book. It is like getting hit in the head by my childhood.
A mother who has to get back her own mother because she can't handle life by herself and a son who acts more grown-up than any of the actual grown ups – it just seemed all to pathetic for me and I just couldn't get into the characters. But a friend once said 'There are no bad books, there's only bad timing for reading them' 😉#dysfunctioalfamily #photoadaynov16
