Good
Finally finished my first book for the month. I should have bailed on it as it didn't keep my interest much. I won't be continuing the series.

Reading the tagged, but my visit with Michael meant I haven't read much today. It's okay though because for the first time, he fell asleep while I was holding him! His momma says that so far, that's never happened. She has always had to hold him to get him to sleep. I felt like the chosen one! Here he is, asleep on me. #Grandson #RaisingReaders
If you're sitting around thinking, "man, I really wish I could listen to a conspiracy book that is one step above National Treasure so that I can picture a younger Nic Cage bumbling around with a mysterious old high school flame, perhaps played by HBC circa Fight Club, and with Samuel L. Jackson as a mentor who may be a secret spy,," then this is your book. It's entertaining and it didn't have any mason or occult nazi cliches. So that was a win.
About an hour into this. This is the first book by Brad Meltzer I'm trying out.
So many twist in this one! It kept me guessing and trying to figure out who could be trusted. Who should Beecher believe? What is the real story? I can‘t wait to read the other 2 in this series!
Trying to finish up this playaway today! Had to get an oil change this morning so I walked over to Starbucks instead of sitting inside 😁
I tried. I really did. I almost bailed around 2 hours, but I was like “Oh I‘m always so judgmental of popular American mystery authors, I‘ve gotta give it a real shot.”
But omg, it‘s written for complete dummies, and/or people who know zero things about history. When the hero (who is obnoxiously indecisive) just had to explain Hiroshima to the heroine, I was like, nope, I‘m out. Clearly I‘ve been spoiled by Scandinavian noir. #jesshowreads2018
This has been my work read so it took a while, which is unfortunate, because once it got going, I wanted to read it all in one sitting. I love political thrillers and conspiracies, and The Inner Circle is the best of both. A super fun read!
Ok so I love series about bookish people saving the country and playing spy ...and this is the start of a new series for me to lose myself in ... Already put book #2 on my kindle!!!
This was a super quick read. The book is all about an archivist who discovers something he shouldn't have gets pulled into murder, investigations into Washington's spies and former assassins. Not amazing writing but the plot sure is compelling. Definitely finishing the series.
Just enjoying a day by the pool with a bonkers-crazy conspiracy-thriller book. Every page reminds me of Dan Brown...
