#BookReport for November. No Wind of Blame was the one I enjoyed most.
Playing catch up with some reviews.
This might be my favourite Georgette Heyer mystery so far. Wonderful female characters in this one and some ingenious misdirection in the plot.
A fun mystery that resembles a 3-ring circus due to the competing dramatic personalities. The murder victim will not be missed, and just about everyone has a motive, so who actually committed the murder?
As a side note, Mary was entirely too good, the epitome of respectability and propriety. I was much more in sympathy with impulsive Vicky, and I kept hearing in my head - "Oh Rose don't be so stuck up" in Agnes' voice from Meet Me in St. Louis.
