The characters in this book do way too much “thinking” 😳

Fire Island, NY is the setting for three summertime bff‘s - 2 sisters and the boy next door. Several summers happen where the sisters don‘t see Paul but they meet again n their twenties. I wasn‘t a fan of the first half of this book - they just spent too much time in their own heads and lifelong bffs shouldn‘t have to do that. But I stuck with it and like how it unfolded.

LeslieO I‘m on my own personal quest to read a bunch of books with “summer” in the title. Some good ones here! 5y
marleed @LeslieO That‘s a fun challenge! 5y

I read this book years ago. I don't think I enjoyed it as much as The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. # #MusicalNewYear

When it‘s 90 degrees at 7:30 p.m., the only way to enjoy reading on the porch swing is to have a fan blowing full force pointed directly at you. 💕📖

Pickpick

So many tears. No spoilers but my biggest sobs came in the scene with the new little girls. That's all I'll say.
