This was a pick based on the cover alone and a lovely read. I loved how Audrey was so put-a-back by the shiny, perfect romances of the movies. Love is messy.

I am definitely not the one for romantic reads, however this is a fantastic page turner. I love how Holly never sticks to the conventional soppy teen romance cliches. It shows that love isn't the typical romance we all hope for. I can‘t deny that I really was hoping for a happy ending, but can completely understand why it ended the way it did. I really let myself fall for Harry, a funny, cheeky, charming character, that most girls would go for.
So been a bit rubbish posting on here recently but i have read up to book 16 on the heartland collection still have 9 of that collection to read but im currently reading it only happens in the movies with my online book club and i am loving it so far!
I really wanted to like this book but It fell flat for me.
I loved this book! I read it in 2 sittings.Great for people from the ages of 12-14
The MC in my current read is studying romance films for a school project. A big part of her project is breaking down the BEST MOVIE KISS EVER. The examples used throughout the book are making me smile and prompted me to ask:
In YOUR opinion what is the BEST MOVIE KISS EVER??
Literally the story of my life. #SharingTwitterThoughts #bookproblems #readerproblems #neverendingTBR
First read of April! Let's do this!
🎥 He‘s Just Not That Into You (a movie that is actually better than the book!)
🍿 Some Kind of Wonderful (followed closely by That Thing You Do)
🎥 Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
🎥 Popcorn, though these days whatever I eat, I‘m probably bringing my own because it‘s a lot of 💴

I‘m about halfway through and I really appreciate how feminist this book is! The take-down of that stupid “You are not like other girls.” trope was EPIC.
I‘m spending the #weekend with my parents. Apart from my exams preparation I hope to have enough time to finally decide on the #SecretCupid books and maybe even plan my Edinburgh trip? I‘m also praying that my flat won‘t grow any more mold while I‘m away. #tgif #friday #reading #studentlife
This book is so good! Such a twist in romance YA books, and that ending was unexpected. Give you a different view on how relationship works.

This is a book that I haven't really stopped raving about since it came out but I'm using it today because the ending has apparently divided people. Some people love it (*cough*me*cough*) and some don't think the author made the right choice.
In the end, the reader is always going to make up their own mind, right?
#Rocktober #AllYouNeedIsLove - Yesterday I finished It Only Happens in the Movies which is a fab book about chick-flicks. It has romance, feminism, friendships, family and movies. A rollarcoaster read. I then went to an event to meet the author with one of my best friends, I would not be where I am today without her and I cannot express how much love I hold for her. 💙 @barbarabb @Cinfhen @JessHeartsBooks
Only 40 pages in and I already know I'm going to love it!
I would highly recommend this book! It was so so so good. Full of movie cliche's, feminism, friendships, first loves, relationships, family life etc. It was rich, raw and honest and I love how strong and vulnerable Holly made all of the characters. I especially loved Audrey's support unit. This book is going on my favourites of the year shelf for sure! 😍
Started this book on Sunday and I am halfway through and it is so far a massive PICK. I am loving the book so much. I honestly don't think Holly Bourne could do anything wrong!
I love how many emotions Audrey is going through and everything isn't so clear cut. I love the feminism and the friendships too. I am very much looking forward to seeing where it goes.
New Holly Bourne book out!! Her books are always funny and very real and are about girls going through very normal but crazy life stuff. 😍 excited to read this one!
