A Dying Light in Corduba
A Dying Light in Corduba: A Marcus Didius Falco Mystery | Lindsey Davis
2 posts | 6 read
Inimitable sleuth Falco is back with a vengeance. One night, a man is killed and Rome's Chief Spy left for dead. This leaves no one except Falco to conduct the investigation. Soon he is plunged into the fiercely competitive world of olive oil production. Political intrigue, an exotic Spanish dancer, and impending fatherhood all add to Falco's troubles.

A good Falco set in sunny Spain. Well, Roman Spain. I reread this 5 years ago in late December.

Mehso-so

Falco and a heavily pregnant Helena go to Hispania on the trail of an olive oil cartel and a dangerous female dancer. Ok but for some reason it didn't work as well as the others. I found it dragged in places. Rating:3/5.
