Now that April is over I need to play catch up & post all my reviews. April was a month. My daughter has been dealing with some medical issues (we thought it was celiac but the tests were negative). My husband has been dealing with some health issues post his annual physical (which in itself has been stressful enough). Our dog dislocated his hip. We had to make a sudden trip to NC. We took our kids down to NC State & got to see the DJ Burns mural

I‘ve been working on all (most of, anyway) my current reads since I got home from playing at a graduation this morning. Well, except when I got tired and apparently took a nap for 45 minutes or so (I blame the cat). Hopefully by this time tomorrow I‘ll be caught up on buddy reads.

This is our new puppy Loki! A good reading buddy he is not 😆😆. My sweet Lilah passed away in March from Lymphoma and I forgot how much work a puppy is 🌈. Neway does anyone want to be in my #LMPBC group? I have not participated in quite a long time and I thought I might try again

In the last few months I‘ve been kept busy introducing this little guy to all things earth side! 😍 So that mostly explains my Litsy silence. But I‘m catching up now by posting a few backdated reviews of some of the better books I‘ve read throughout all those long bedtime and late night nursing sessions.

Totally co-opting the tagged book for my purpose of admitting that I tend to read in spurts and then post in spurts. I just posted reviews for books that I‘ve read over the past 6 months or so (or maybe even as far back as a year). 🤭 And that‘s not even all of them. I still have a handful on my tbr list that I‘ve finished reading. Anyone else have this trouble?

This is the first time I‘ve skipped a month, but I have so many books on my TBR that I didn‘t want to pick one I know wouldn‘t be very high up on the list. None of the selections caught my eye this time. Looking forward to next month‘s selections and time to catch up on my current reads! ❤️

With my recent addiction to paint pouring, I haven‘t been getting much reading in this month. That means these two lovelies arrived on my porch today and I haven‘t even finished the February boxes yet! Time to get reading!

I really need to catch up with my Litsy reviews... I‘ve finished two of these, bailed on a third, and am halfway through another that I haven‘t yet marked as “Reading.” Diving in now...

I lurk more than I post, but it's time to play as little catch up and record the books I've read this year. I'll try to do better in the future (famous last words).

This morning I had a lovely catch up with @Big-Book-Little-Book and her lovely daughter. We drank coffee, ate cake and talked. We somehow missed out on talking about books (what?!) but it was lovely and can't wait to do it again soon 😊
