⭐️⭐️⭐️ another one down for #bookspinbingo! This one took such a long time to get started, that I got a little bored! Oh well.

📖 CR: An Acceptable Time
The fifth and final book in the Time Quintet and I‘m really enjoying it so far
#currentlyreading
I know I‘m way late to the party, but since this is pretty much what I had planned for my weekend already, I figured I would participate! #8intwo #readathon
Plans:
-finish some of the shit I‘m already reading (I‘ve got 5 books going right now y‘all...)🤷🏻♀️
-maybe finally start The Cruel Prince!
Bring on the weekend! ☕️📚
Out of the Time Quintet, A Wrinkle in Time and Many Waters are the only ones I really enjoy. The others have just been so-so for me. This one just seemedt boringly slow, uninteresting, and uninspired—and a little preachy at times. I know L‘Engle mixes theology with science, and I enjoyed that in AWIT and MW, but it was just overwhelming in this one. But...I would probably still recommend reading the entire series.
So, here are the books I plan to finish/read in May. Should be a cinch. I hope. #MayTBR
How can a person read when THIS is staring at you???
@Menjivar1978 and I lose each other in a bookstore so easily....
I will never be friends with “them”. ✌🏼
1) Done! 😁
2) Riot in the Grayson County Jail?
3) Unfortunately, no. Writing, though. 😁
4) How do you get an “A” on everything? Commit adultery in a 17th century Puritan town.
5) 👍🏼Will do!

Think I‘ll start this one tonight. Then I‘ll have read all of the Time Quintet—finally.
Finally reading this one as an adult after missing it as a kid. Enjoyable so far, but not my favorite of the series.
Yes, I am glad I read this series. No, I will not be reading it again. It was very slow going and a lot of science. #Charlie #catsoflitsy
So I have finally made it through this series. I have to say this one wasn‘t my favorite, mostly because it was slow going. Only the last 100-150 pages really got into the action. While getting to know Polly was nice, and her interactions with the other characters was interesting, I would have liked more backstory on Zachary, since he really seemed to be the main antagonist. All in all, interesting concept, but it just drug out for me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
February round up! #MadeleineLEngle has definitely won a Place forever in my heart.

It is sometimes hard to pick a rating. If there was one between pick and so-so I would chose that. An interesting idea that did drag in places, while other bits were wonderful. It did have more "God" stuff than I was expecting but it fit into the story well enough to not be annoying. It's odd to finish a series as an adult that I began in high school 30 something years ago. I have to wonder what my high school self would have thought about this.
The weather has finally become nice enough for outside reading.
My fav of the series :)
#seasonsreadings2016 #redandgreen I have fewer green books than I thought! And my stack is leaning a bit, but there's a cuddly 😻in the background to make up for it :)
This final installment in the Time Quintet is ok, & I got into the story better than that of Many Waters, but mainly, I wanted to smack Zachary so badly. Overall the story is fine, but I wish L'Engle had left this series a trilogy.
Not my most favorite of her books but it definitely picked up towards the end. Zachary is a selfish pig, he drove me absolutely crazy! 😠 ⭐️⭐️⭐️
About halfway through this. Not enjoying it as much as the Austin family stories but still finding it comforting, L'engle's books provide the backdrop to my adolescence. ❤️
