Here are some great new finds in the comic/graphic novel genre. These were all 4-5 stars for me, but I think shuck had to be my new favourite! I‘m all caught up in most of these, with the exception of Once Upon a Time at the End of the World and Revival, as it has 47 issues!

Doing one kind act a day might be a good resolution for 2018, but I‘m no Huck.

Gorgeous! Huck lives in a quiet American town, where he was abandoned as a baby. He is a gentle soul with a penchant for good deeds (♥️) but he also happens to be incredibly strong with an ability to find anyone or anything... when this is exposed to the media various people try to take advantage and some shady people from his mothers past come looking...

thegirlwiththelibrarybag I was a Girl Guide, and a daily good deed is part of the Guiding creed - this really brought that back to me - kindness and a helping hand can really go a long way! 8y

lol it's exhausting being a gentle gas station attendant with super powers and a heart of gold. Loved this comic....it's what we need in these chaotic times.

Loved this book about a giant gas station attendant Huck who has a superpower to find things. He is so gentle and kind and all he does is help people until he's discovered and publicly outed. He finally gets to meet his mutant mom who also has the ability to make people do things (empath) and together they fight her nemesis Dr. Orlov, who wants to put her and Huck in captivity to study them for science. Great story. I'm a Mark Millar fan!

TheLondonBookworm I've not heard of this before but it sounds right up my street 🙃 stacked! 8y

What a nice, sweet comic! I haven't liked everything Millar has done, but this one hit all the right notes, with a clean, satisfying ending and (surprising to no one) gorgeous art by Rafael Albuquerque. Highly recommended!
