pickThings finally seem to be calm, when someone from October‘s past turns up unexpectedly. And October learns that everything she thought she knew about herself and her past may be wrong.
Christ, this book delivers on the promises of the previous books. October continues to show real, thoughtful character development. The romance with Tybalt is just enough to make me sigh. Secondary characters are all given weight and purpose. Just, 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗

Day 3 of #HeyJune, I‘m actually posting something before 11:00pm (It‘s because I haven‘t gone to bed, yet, y‘all). What better to post for #EightDaysaWeek than book 8 in the October Daye Series. I even made a little collage. This series my absolute favorite in the urban fantasy genre. I‘ll tag the first book in the comments because absolutely everyone should read these, and you must start at the beginning.
True fact #1: I used to forecast flight weather for the US Air Force. True Fact #2: I apparently don't read a lot of books with #weather in the title. This one is one of the many in the October Daye series, which is, as a whole, a great series of books, but I cannot for the life of me remember what this particular one is actually about. #aprilbookshowers
