I‘m so thankful that summer is giving us a break considering I‘m driving a car with no a/c for the next few days. The tagged book was the first I thought of for weather related. It‘s been on my TBR for years.

If you‘re looking for nonstop action and an original magic system, you need to read Ill Wind. Rachel Caine did an amazing job integrating weather terminology with her magic. I do advise only adults read this. Joanne can be provocative and falls into some Urban Fantasy tropes. But the world-building and intense battles are too good to pass up. #urbanfantasy

My last two reads were so good! Now I'm ready to start a new series. This is the first of (I believe) six, urban fantasy. The endorsement on the front is from one of my favorite authors, so that's promising!

Weather Warden book 1 opens with Joanne Baldwin in trouble and racing across America to try and find someone to help her. The pressure does not let up! The romance element was weakest for me, but my interest was engaged solidly enough for me to buy book 2 already!

I read this series years and years ago - but it was still the first to come to mind for #weather - there are people who control elements of the Weather, conspiracies, genies, and a whole lot of crazy situations. 😆 #aprilbookshowers
