Great series. Reads just like an episode of castle for anyone who liked the show. Great mystery plots with well developed characters with just the right amount of comic relief paired with well described action sequences.

About halfway through, so far it's my least favorite of the Nikki Heat books. I'm gonna force myself to finish it though. #commutereading #mysteries #tvtiein

I've been trying to read a lot on my vacation but the kids and I got into a Castle marathon and I love it! This is an all time fave show - it's so fun to watch the series again. 😎 I'm determined to one day write a mystery. 📝

After the last Heat book I was worried that this series had run its course. So wrong. Nikki Heat is definitely back in this one. She is joined by old and new friends to continue the search for her mother. I really liked the guest appearance. Not a surprise if you read the last book.

Turned out pretty good even though it was a bit slow at times.

Close to finishing this one. About 68% done. Still not as interesting as I hoped.

I knew there was something I didn't like about Derrick Storm. Now I know what, he likes Fords. 😂
