pickI really enjoyed The Wildwood Series by Colin Meloy and when I saw the audiobook for his latest was narrated by Bronson Pinchot I was on this like white on rice. It didn't disappoint. Clever funny writing and another fantastic performance by Pinchot. Great middle grade read. If you've never listened to Pinchot look for books he's done. He does an excellent job
My fingers have been flying! I had an order for 50 of these little animals in my Etsy shop so I have been doing lots if #audiocrocheting recently. But they are done and shipping out today!
Just received a ton of surprise book mail! Apparently it's been stacking up at my old office, and they just forwarded it along! Exciting day!!
so-soThe cover sold me on this one ... but the story didn't. It follows a boy on the 1960's who goes to live with his diplomat father in Europe. He grows bored of privilege and finds himself in a pick-pocketing-gang. A pick pocket gang that targets the privileged. The story is fun, but I feel like I've read this exact story before. The ARC had some gorgeous drawings though, & the writing/characters are strong. Overall - you'll know if this is for you.
