Good. Even though at times the writing was a bit disjointed and confusing as it suddenly went into the points of view of other characters and I felt like I wasn't sure what was going on. Also the story was a bit flat as sometimes as one idea was getting going it suddenly moved in another direction and the first idea was dropped.

Currently reading this and I'm having issues with the blurb on the back as chapters 3-10 have Anqelique in a job as a nanny but this suggests something different.
Please tell me I'm not being picky! 📚 📖
Finally made it to the #barnesandnoble #bookhaul #memberpresale and got some great finds! Confession: I am named after #DanielleSteel & I have NEVER read a novel by her! Guess I will now. ( it's her first historical fiction romance novel). Excited to read these!

It took me sometime before I warmed to the story. But, I love it...
Such a good introduction to Danielle Steel.
I really enjoyed this. I liked the characters and traveling to Paris.
Angeligue is a duchess/nanny we all need.
I have lots of her books around the house (mum's a big fan) and yet I haven't picked one up for myself.
Since I'm into historical fiction at the moment, this one seems good.
Steel always entertains! Loved the beautiful descriptions of the land and beautiful homes/castles! The heroine was just perfect! Overall a quick easy read with a happy just ending!
Still catching up on those DS books that are friend and I both missed. This was one of our two books for April. I gave it a so-so but in all reality, if it had been another author I might have given it a thumbs up. Although I enjoyed the historical fiction genre, I didn't feel that this book was on the same level of her more recent books which were excellent! Still a good and interesting book, but not as good as some I've read lately.
Not a bad story, but what was with starting so many sentences with "And..." Is this normal for DS? It was so distracting! Am I an emerging book snob? ?
#TBRtemptation post 4! Will hit bookstore shelves this week. Any Danielle Steel fans here 😊👍🏻? With this work, she takes you to 19th-Century England. Angelique was raised by her widowed father, the Duke of Westerfield. She manages the estate until he dies, when her brothers turn her out. She makes her way to Paris where she opens an elegant house of pleasure, protecting its women & serving only the best clients. #blameLitsy #blameMrBook 😎
