@LeahBergen You know how I said I never found many Angela Thirkells in secondhand bookshops? Well, I hit the jackpot in Castlemaine last week! They had about as many more from the 50's but I had to draw the line somewhere😆 I also picked up a few Penelope Lively paperbacks, so I was very happy with my day!

My first read of the new year beside my new plant! I‘ve always loved plants but haven‘t been able to have any for a long time because of various reasons. Caring for my new Ivy is something I‘m enjoying. I‘m a longtime fan of Angela Thirkell and have listened to several of her book on audio. The Headmistress is my first print foray.
