Shakespeare, man. What can I say? He was the best there was at what he did and what he did was put every facet of humanity, good and bad, dark and ridiculous, on paper and on the stage.
Even though I know his birthday is actually closer to May 3rd due to Julian/Gregorian calendar shenanigans, I'm celebrating today because why not?
"So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee."
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I think it would be a fun read for any fan of the Bard. Told from the point of view of one of his actors, the reader gets a new perspective of the life and works of William Shakespeare.

"What I have to tell you is not facts at all. What I have to tell you consists of fictions. Reader, our real lives are fictions. Be sure that fiction is the best biography."
I have high hopes for this book. Please don't let me down!
What a little treat of a book! Captures the naughty glint in Shakespeare's eye!
