A sweet, whimsical middle grade novel about a young girl who lives in her family‘s bookstore - I actually read the ARC for the upcoming North American edition which has a different cover. Lots of fun for young readers who are book lovers and who like a fun mystery thrown in.
This is what happens when your favorite local used bookshop has a three-day Fire Sale... and you stop in not just once, but two days in a row. And then on your way home from the second day of the sale, you stop in at the library to pick up the hold that came in for your husband, and just take a few moments to browse the new books...
My #TBR is doomed.
I think that today, as punishment, I need to spend the whole afternoon reading.
What a sweet and funny children's book! Mr Lemoncello meets Willy Wonka meets Matilda - at least that's the sort of vibe I got from this short novel. 😊 Would be perfect to read with your kids. Or just by yourself. Doesn't matter really but it's definitely recommended. I, at least, devoured it in one sitting. 😊
Found this on Book Depository and didn't realize that it's actually a children's book. I just saw the word bookshop in the title and was sold - you know how it goes. 🙈😂 Anyway it looks like a cute quick read so I'll give it a go. 😊
"Had to" stop by my favorite local bookshop, An Unlikely Story, for some gift cards. I stopped myself from buying books since I know I have a #summersantagoespostal package tucked away at home, waiting for June 21st! My favorite design features here are the HP brooms and flying books hanging from the ceiling! ? #bookstorebrowsing #happyplace
Following tags on instagram from my last read led me to this book... which led me to book depository... which lead to several purchases...
Well, my letterbox has been devoid of interesting arrivals of late...
