pickI have been enjoying @minavesguerra's books since I discovered them in 2010. Better At Weddings Than You is no exception. Happy to share another #romanceclass title in my Best of 2017 list. The story starts during Christmas eve dinner buffet. So this evening is the perfect time to talk about this book! A fun and sexy romance with the hero and heroine both as wedding planners. Heroine is a strong and independent woman.👌

Better At Weddings Than You by @minavesguerra has a scene that is partially based on TWG tea salon. It's actually the scene where the heroine and hero (both of whom are wedding planners) meet for the first time. One of my favorite romance reads this year.🙌

And I'm sure Daphne will approve of a good skincare regimen! I just started using Mono Naturals radiance facial oil and I'm loving it so far. It has 12 botanicals, e.g. rosehip, argan, moringa, neroli, sandalwood.

With everything that was going on during #FeelsSoHot last night, I forgot to ask @minavesguerra to sign this copy. So I brought it along during breakfast so she can sign it. Really enjoyed this Filipino romance between two wedding planners! Loved how independent and strong the heroine in this one is.
Coffee was a Filipino blend that had a hint of hazelnut.☕

Had brunch at TWG tea salon yesterday and I brought Better At Weddings Than You by @minavesguerra along with me. There's a tea salon scene in the book that was partially inspired by TWG, and I loved the descriptions of the place.🍵👌 there's also a scene where the hero eats a delicious salad (with chicharon!) so a pic of the book cover beside my salad was also a good idea.

Sometimes my friend and I say we'll have soup and salad for dinner but we end up having something else like braised pork belly instead. Proud to say I REALLY had soup and salad tonight.😂 If only it was the chicharon salad described in #BetterAtWeddingsThanYou by @minavesguerra. I had to make do with pumpkin soup and mozzarella cucumber granita salad. Just kidding! They were both good.

Steak makes stress go away! After a nerve-wracking afternoon, I needed to unwind and TWG seemed like a good choice. Ribeye with charred kale, served with vegetable millefeuille infused with tea. And @minavesguerra's latest title. I think this kind of meal can be served at a wedding so it's fitting for the title, right?
