Aimeejett I have never heard of this book!! I‘m so glad you did it because now I want to read it. It seems like such a great kids book. I like the UDL & EL strategy you have chosen also. I think they will be very helpful. 7y

AJones My boys and I have enjoyed Rosemary Wells‘ F books for many years. She is such a great writer, illustrator, and producer. Her Max and Ruby series was a big hit in our home. 🐰 Your UDL and EL strategies are perfect. Our young students need to learn about other cultures. 🌎 This is the only way we can learn. This was one of my favorite books when I was little. I used to relate to Yoko. This fictional book is about a young kitten named Yoko and the struggles that she faces during lunchtime. Her classmates eat "regular" food while she eats her sushi. They make fun of her lunch and Yoko starts to feel sad.
