I found this pretty (signed! 😮) edition a few years ago and have been saving it for just the right time. Orphaned cousin Joan comes to London from Lancaster to live with her very talented (ballet, orchestra, etc) family and must learn to find her own way.

Are there any other Mabel Esther Allan fans out there?

A lovely #ballet book from the same author who wrote the Drina series (writing under a pseudonym here). So glad I have the sequel, because I'm going to read it straight away. Fans of Drina or Lorna Hill's Sadler's Wells series will love it.
