So, I sorta enjoyed this book & sorta really didn't. The story is ramping up & getting exciting but at the same time it's kinda not because every time there's a crisis, it works out just fine & everything goes back to normal. There's this really odd part in the middle of the book as well concerning Kris getting date raped & her acceptance of it is a bit unnerving to be honest. Two stars & I don't know if I'll read the other books now ⭐⭐

The first book of the series is good and the science fiction stuff in this one is fine, if drawn out, but this book trivializes rape and that is not okay.
