The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes | 
pickThis collection comprises of 12 short stories that are classic Holmes. It was fun to listen to these after having finished watching the Sherlock series as a family and to recognise bits and pieces that were incorporated into the modern day retelling, particularly in the form of book characters. A Scandal in Bohemia and The Copper Beeches were probably my favourites. I was going to take a break at the end of this collection but decided to push on.
pickBook 3 in the Sherlock Holmes Series (#SeriesLove2024) was wonderful. I am enjoying re-reading these although I am way behind for #NoPlaceLikeHolmes
pickThis was such a treat. A collection of 12 stories where most of them had me guessing until the very end, one I guessed early and one I guessed right before the solution was revealed.
I‘m ready for the next volume.

pickI read this collection a number of years ago and enjoyed the reread. There was one or two so-so stories in the collection, but the majority of the stories have a fun adventure. Holmes is Holmes, of course…he‘s never going to win the most humble person award!

pickEven though Doyle wrote two novels before these twelve stories, for me, it all begins with this book and the first short story “A Scandal in Bohemia.“ If you're new to the world of Holmes and Watson, this is the book to start with. Twelve masterful short stories that have most of the best of the Holmes canon. I don't know how many times I've read these, but I keep rereading and will keep rereading for as long as I can. I am truly #sherlocked.
You may have a slight book addiction if you‘re checking which ebooks are on sale while you stand on line at Barnes and Noble to pay for the armload of books you‘re impulse purchasing. 🤦🏻♀️

Just starting work number 4: The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. I love it. Each story is so interesting, clever, humorous, and puzzling.
