ravenlee I once had a teacher criticize my use of “inner dialogue,” telling me it‘s monologue. I remember thinking, “you mean you only have a single voice in your head? Because I have some SERIOUS discussion/disagreement going on in my head most of the time.” 3y

KathyWheeler @ChaoticMissAdventures I was never able to meditate because of that. What finally worked for me was learning that you don‘t have to empty your mind to meditate. Also guided meditation using an app like Headspace or Calm. 3y
