Such a good cozy, and set on an island off the coast of Maine (Maine is my favorite state). I wished while reading this that I could be enjoying the fresh salt air, without the murder, of course. Julia returns home to save her family‘s clambake business, but murder happens before the official start of the season. Now, there are plenty of suspects, and the bank is calling in the loan. The recipes sound delish, even to this vegetarian. ⬇️⬇️⬇️

An actually competent cozy. I‘ve had a run of bad cozies with terrible plots or terrible characters but this is good. Actual mystery, proper peril for motivation. I enjoyed.
