These Ruthless Deeds | 
pickThe sequel to These Vicious Masks, and it was just as good as the first one! I really liked the mystery and the powers, new and old, I loved the new characters, and obviously I still adore the original main ones. I found the pace to be faster than the first one, and it definitely had more action, I enjoyed the romance, and just the overall feel to the book. I'm not even going to talk about the ending, other than I cannot wait to read book 3!

pickI AM OBSESSED WITH THIS BOOK! It's like if Magnito or Umbridge ran an institution of people with powers in Victorian England and then threw in the Red Wedding.
This book convinced me that if I had a super power...I'd want it to be that everyone would have to truthfully answer my questions. The trolling and blackmail material you could get with that!
The romance...spider web? is absolutely amazing and I just want more of it!
Reminding me of Harry Potter and X-Men but set in Victorian England. Starting my 4th historical fiction in two days!

pickThese Ruthless Deeds was a little darker than These Vicious Masks. The characters are well rounded and the writing is on point! I could not put this book down. I need the third one asap! Anyone know when it's coming out?
pickI mean, it's basically the X-Men in Victorian England! It's so good. I loved the first book and this one was even better! So many more powered characters and a take no BS kick-ass leading lady!
pickMuch better than the 1st book. The cast returns & feel a bit more developed. The heroine is still a no-BS sassy lady. The pacing was also good, but confusing if you haven't read book #1. The cliches I had issues with in book #1 are still there but fewer in number. I'm hoping they'll decrease even more for the last book so it feels more original & authentic. Overall, great Victorian-era YA fantasy.
