This was a great holiday read. I related to Darcy in part of family feels I should be married and have had kids by now and points out how that i dont is somehow not as acceptable. I by the way ignore or give witty comebacks.

This book would make a great Hallmark Christmas movie. Susan Wiggs knows how to write small town contemporary #romantsy novels. I‘ve read a few of her other books and always enjoy them. Darcy Fitzgerald is recovering from a difficult divorce when she meets Logan O‘Donnell and sparks fly. But she lives in New York City and he lives in Avalon near Willow Lake. ( fans will be familiar with Willow Lake 💙)

This was a great, light hearted read, but it felt like the book took forever to get to the climax and then suddenly everything was resolved very quickly. I‘d have liked a bit more to be put on the back end of the story to better finalize it.

It‘s here! I ordered a print from the very talented @BookBabe , and it‘s even more beautiful in person than I expected....❤️❤️❤️ Can‘t wait to frame it and put it up. It gives me such a feeling of peace and comfort just looking at it. 😊😍
