Everyone's at home reading today & I'm at work like ....
I‘ve read two books in October. Two. Needless to say that I‘ve been in a major reading slump. So instead of reading, I ran and/or cross-trained every single day, which took away 35 hours of reading time. I also binge-watched The Office and I‘m not going to calculate how many hours of my life that took from October, but there‘s 201 episodes 😂 Worth it.
@TrishB As promised- the view from my chair showing the gap between my office walls and the ceiling. Kind of defeats the purpose of having a door to close out noise, but it still beats an open floor plan with standard cubicles, which is what I'll be moving back into at the end of the year. *sigh* (and yes, I leave the overhead lights off because they trigger migraines/make them worse)
I never watched The Office when it originally aired, but my wife and I have spent the past few months binging all 201 episodes. What a phenomenal achievement this was. I have not laughed like this in ages. I really am going to miss the whole crew at Dunder Mifflin. This is a perfect example of how comedy can become magic.
