Today‘s #bookmail.
Fraser's Stack Your Bones evolved out of the author's work with Structural Integration, a type of bodywork that focuses on manipulating body tissues to realign and strengthen the body‘s framework, leading to improved flexibility and resilience. I found the exercises to be fun, and many gave me new ways of thinking about my body. I loved that she used the words sitz bones. It made me laugh every single time I read it.
I have recently found a yoga instructor who has opened a whole new world for me simply by communicating positions through cues that are understandable to me. Fraser has this same gift. My only negative is that there is no guidance as to how to use this as practice-- the lessons are micro, but chapters long. This is a great reference book for those interested in yoga, wellness and alignment. #netgalley
