Tucking into an old favorite. 👍
The first time I read this graphic novel, I decided it was one of my favorites. It‘s rather light on the action, but I suppose it‘s because the content demands a battle of philosophies more than of fists. I think the only thing I would really change about it is to take the ending speech from Kitty and Scott and give it to Kurt—a Catholic who truly believes the Word instead of twisting it to his own purposes like Stryker does. Still, a solid read.

I didn't know much about the X-Men universe going into this graphic novel, but that didn't affect my enjoyment of it. The story is easy to follow even without prior knowledge and the artwork is absolutely amazing. Whether you're a new fan of the X-Men characters or have been reading about them for years, I definitely recommend checking out this comic.
X-Men are always politically relevant. But GOD LOVES MAN KILLS is particularly relevant in our current political climate, I think.
Wow. What a good story. I'm not a huge fan of older comics but this was really good.
