Day 15 #Top20series #20series20days I told myself I will not post any children/youth series, but then I realized I wouldn‘t be the person I am without Enid Blyton. I wouldn‘t be the reader I am without Enid Blyton. All of her series deserve to be here, but I choose this one. Malory Towers is another big fave of mine!

LeahBergen Yes! I found I just HAD to post children‘s series. 4y
TrishB I did Malory Towers ❤️ 4y
Tove_Reads @TrishB Good! Didn‘t know what to choose. Loved St Claire‘s too, and the Secret Seven. 💕 4y

Tove_Reads @andrew65 What will we do with the best stand alones? I feel we are treating them unfairly. 4y

Scone-y Sunday💕
I was probably in grade 6 when I read about a picnic that the Famous Five had in the middle of an adventure. In the story, it was a particularly hot day and they all had ginger ale and scones. I had no idea what those things were but they sounded absolutely refreshing. I finally got a chance to have these two together.
Presenting, ginger ale and peach-vanilla scone. Bookish childhood dream-✅

Tanisha_A Woohoo! 😃 4y

I don‘t own this anymore, but remember reading from this exact edition when I was young. The Famous Five series were fun! Loved all their adventures and the characters.

1- I‘ve got a soft spot the the Famous Five books. I read and re read them a million times.... not sure I‘d go back & spoil the memory with a re read though!
2- Tue Grit - my mum loves Westerns....so life was full of them growing up!
3- Anything by Elvis...Mum is a big fan, we used to do chores to the music every weekend! I also got married in Vegas and went to a small Elvis lounge show post wedding....happy times!
4- Feel free!

AsYouWish Love Elvis! He was a big part of my childhood, I think I watched Blue Hawaii at least three times a day for a long time! 6y

Mine are Vladimir Nabokov, Edith Wharton, Zadie Smith, Toni Morrison, and Ralph Ellison.
